10 Life-Changing Self-Love Hacks That Made Me Sexier To Women

Self-love is possible for anyone. Even if you feel like the world’s biggest loser, you can turn this around.

Hey, it’s Joe.

Confidence is arguably the most attractive personality trait.

This is why we’re recommending self-love exercises to guys so often.

It changes the way you walk, the way you talk, the energy that your romantic interest receives.

This has far more impact than your haircut, your fashion or even the words you say when you approach someone for the first time.

With that in mind, let’s explore some of the most powerful self-love hacks to help you skyrocket your self-image and attract amazing women into your life.

1. Do Things That Make You Proud

This is perhaps the most effective of our self-love hacks — and the most beneficial to other areas of your life.

When you do things that are difficult to achieve, pride and self-love are inevitable consequences.

You don’t have to dive into monumental tasks either, just small missions slightly outside your comfort zone.

  • If you never exercise, aim to run around the block.
  • If you suffer from social anxiety, try to meet five new people today.
  • If you dream of becoming a famous YouTuber, film your first video.
  • If you want to become a famous author, write your first Medium article.
  • If you’re horrifically lazy, create a small to-do list for tomorrow and complete all the tasks.

These first steps might seem daunting, but that’s why you’ll gain a sense of accomplishment and pride when you take them.

The next step is to keep up the momentum by doing something tougher the next day. And the next day.

Keep up this habit — and you can make huge strides towards your life goals. If you become 1% better every day, you’ll be 37 times better by the end of the year.

Then, you can look back and be really proud of your achievement.

2. Write 50 Things You Love About Yourself

It’s called The Awesome List. You can include physical features, personality traits or past achievements. They can be obvious strengths or hidden gems.

This exercise is effective because 50 things is a lot. It forces your brain to focus hard on all of your awesome qualities. You should be beaming with self-love once you finish, plus you can always re-read the list when you need a top-up.

3. Keep A Gratitude Journal

It’s as simple as writing 5–10 things you’re grateful for every day. This will help you develop an air of positivity that should transfer to your self-image too.

4. Affirmations

Your words affect your thoughts. Your thoughts affect your beliefs. Your beliefs affect your self-image. That’s why affirmations are so powerful.

The simple process of repeating a statement you want to be true 20 times can transform your life.

Your body language has a huge impact on your mood too. That’s why it’s best to stare in the mirror with your arms spread like a champion and yell your affirmations with ferocious positivity.

5. The Inner Child Exercise

The inner child involves visualising your childhood self. Sit down with this child. Tell him you love him. Tell him all the things you needed to hear in your childhood. In the visualisation, show him all the cool stuff you have as an adult.

This is one of the most unique and powerful self-love hacks I’ve encountered, so I’d urge you to watch this video, where it’s explained in greater detail.

6. Help Others

Generosity doesn’t just make the world a better place, it also helps you to feel amazing about yourself.

7. Meditate

Meditation helps you separate yourself from your thoughts and emotions. This creates a deeper sense of calm and ability to enjoy the present moment, instead of being stuck in your head. That’s perfect for those who suffer from negative self-talk.

Meditation is the practice of sitting still and focusing on nothing but your breathing for an allotted period of time. It’s simple, but incredibly challenging. Your thoughts will wander. When they do, calmly direct them back to your breath. It’ll get easier over time.

When you’re present, you’ll find your levels of contentment and self-love rise. Self-love is the default, after all!

Frequent meditators report a feeling of joy and fulfilment during the practice itself, so you can look forward to that too!

8. Cut Toxic People Out Of Your Life

“You become the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

Jim Rohn’s advice is one of most commonly-cited self-development quotes, because it’s so accurate.

If you’re constantly around people who put you down, that will surely harm your self-image. If you’re only around happy and positive people who love you, that’ll do so much to help you love yourself.

So, make the difficult decision to cut toxic people from your life, or at least limit the amount of time you spend with them.

9. Stop Comparing Yourself To Others

There’s someone out there with a worse hand in life than you, who still loves themselves more. This is because they choose not to compare themselves to others.

It’s a fool’s game to compare yourself to other people, because there will always be someone who has it better than you.

It’s far healthier to focus on being grateful for what you have.

If you must compare yourself to someone, do so with your past self. This is the only person it makes sense to compete against.

10. Forgive Yourself

It’s no use beating yourself up for making mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. It’s part of being human.

Self-forgiveness will do a lot to boost your self-love levels, so get good at it.
