Since the release of a recent video, I have had numerous pickup artists message me about their situations… Guys who have done 1,000, 10,000, even 20,000 cold approaches and still didn’t get laid. I decided to dig deeper.

High Volume – Low Results Cold Approach On Reddit
It all started when, on my weekly patrol of Reddit (I hate Reddit, I just visit for marketing purposes). I stumbled upon Reddit posts written by guys sharing their advice on cold approach. I would see sentences like…
‘In my experience, it usually takes about 1,500-2,000 approaches before real results start showing.’
This shocked me. As a natural, I had done 0 cold approaches before getting into game and already had numerous girlfriends and one night stands before I even knew cold approach was a thing. How can guys possibly be not only meeting thousands of women, but intentionally doing cold approach over and over again, and still not getting laid?
I felt compelled to mention it on the Social Circle Game Special of the Dating Coach Panel later that day.
After releasing the clip on YouTube specifically about guys getting no results despite thousands of cold approaches, it got more attention than a lot of other videos at the time. Comments started pouring in, and the comments inspired the idea that I just had to dig deeper and look into this.
Cold Approach Day Game Data
All my life, I had been doing low volume game and having no problem getting girls. But there were guys doing high volume game with low results. I call this high volume – low results game.
A member of Game Budapest shared his experience…
‘I know it’s probably outside of the reality of everyone here, but I did about 1,300 day game approaches, and I got laid precisely 0 times. I was making detailed stats on it in the first year, when I did 813 approaches in total – I’ve attached a screenshot of my Excel sheet.’
‘And it’s not that I’m fat or have a low salary (I earn in the upper 10% in Hungary). I also had a hair transplant, I dress well (or so I believe), and I spent €3,000 on a dating coach to teach me day game.’
‘I’m going now with Andrew Tate’s approach, which is that you need to get rich and successful, and then women will be a byproduct of it. (Or if not, I will at least be able to afford elite dating coaches) I also hired another dating coach last year and had hundreds of professional photos taken and measured on Photofeeler. So, I will give Tinder another try. I’m telling this lest I sound too doomerish. And I’m also more and more comfortable with the fact that women may be just outside my reality.’
Calling All Day Gamers
Something about the spreadsheet compelled me to make an announcement to the entire pickup artist community…
Due to the overwhelming ideas and response to our recent video about a guy admitting on Reddit that he did THOUSANDS of cold approaches and STILL didn’t get laid, Game Global is putting together a very particular experiment.
You will effectively get doses of free coaching. But you must be part of the demographic we are looking for to run this experiment…
You must be…
1. A day gamer
2. A high volume gamer (Thousands of approaches already)
3. Seeing little success through day game
We’ll go through finer details over time, but we are compelled to open this can of worms right now and proceed accordingly with several experiments…
1. Every participant tracking their approaches, phone numbers/social media connections and sexual partners gained.
2. Testing whether indirect game is more effective than direct game, and identifying the statistical difference.
3. Various missions to test if certain behaviors and techniques increase results.
If you are part of this criteria, send @IceWhiteOfficial EXPERIMENT as a message, and write out further information to show that you quality. For example, if you already had been collecting data on your approaches each month, etc.
We are going to make a mega spreadsheet with data for each person.

Within hours, I had already received multiple messages from guys claiming to have done 10,000 and even 20,000 approaches with little to no results.
Phil Heitlinger, a dating coach from Germany, shared similar observations. A guy he talked to claims to have done 11,000 cold approaches, and got laid a grand total of 0 times.
My Hypothesis
Long before people responded to my announcement, my mind had already been set on the idea that guys aren’t seeing results through day game through a combination of reasons…
- Day game is the least effective game. Something I have believed for many years, and then proved using data from the community.
- Day game has been popularized in a very specific and limiting way, with infield videos and bootcamps reducing people’s understanding of day game to generally only being busy public places in cities. People forget about grocery stores, classes, transportation, workplaces and much more.
- Similarly, people are specifically going out just to do day game instead of doing cold approach around whatever they happen to be doing in their daily life. This has caused a lot of day gamers to turn day game into a hobby instead of having real hobbies and simply socializing around their hobbies and whatever they are doing in life in general.
- The community has also generally reduced cold approach day game to spam approach day game. A severe form of high volume game, and like stated before, this influences the limited types of locations people choose.
- Infield footage, especially rizz kid content, has been self-popularized in such a way that it promotes what looks good on camera and shows what actually gets views, instead of more realistic and genuine conversations. This has taken a turn towards direct game, which puts a risk and reward rush before anything else. Direct game leads to a higher likelihood of rejection.
Current Observations
Following my announcement, I started to see that the vast majority of guys lacking results from cold approach had already shown similar attributes to each other and my hypothesis…
- Emphasis on direct game
- Implications of spam approach (Which isn’t surprising; I asked for guys who have done thousands of approaches)
This means that it could be interesting to start implementing missions that introduce more indirect game over time.
Studying High Volume – Low Results Cold Approach Long Term
Feel free to reach out if you are stuck in high volume – low results game. We recently started an experiment in order to identify what is going wrong for guys who are doing thousands of cold approaches and getting poor results. I refuse to accept money from the participants. This is greater than all of us. It is an opportunity to solve the problems of the worst case scenario when it comes to cold approaching women.
The experiment we are conducting includes guys in cities around the world, actively tracking each month:
- Approaches
- Contacts (Messaging/Social Media)
- Date 1 (First Dates)
- Date 2+ (Dates beyond the First Date)
- Sex
- DG-MG Rate (Day Game to Message Game)
- DG-Date Rate (Day Game to Date)
This was inspired by the member of Game Budapest who provided his spreadsheet earlier. Some adjustments were made. For instance, it is unnecessary to include ‘instant dates’ because that’s just a nerdy term for a spontaneous first date. And nobody using the term ‘lays’ is normal; that’s just creepy terminology. It’s called sex, or sexual partners.
In the long run, I will set small missions for every participant in order to identify which particular changes to people’s cold approach strategy have an impact on results. Those who do not actively participate will simply be kicked off the experiment… We need answers.
