Every month, Game Global asks the pickup artist community if members have actually approached women that particular month.

Here are the results for the entire year of 2024.

Best Month: August, with 70% of pickup artists doing cold approach.

Worst Month: December, with 57% of pickup artists doing cold approach.

Summer: May to August was the most popular time to cold approach women, which lines up well with Summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Around this time, the weather is warmer, people go on vacation and many events and festivals take places around the world.

Winter: December to February was the least popular time to cold approach women, in line with Winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Winter months have less sunlight, meaning that the days are shorter and the night starts earlier.

Average: On average, 63% of pickup artists each month take action by approaching women.

Each poll asks… Have you approached at least 3 women in [January]?

The monthly poll has hundreds of respondents, declaring whether or not pickup artists have approached at least 3 women that particular month.

The reason behind asking pickup artists if they have approached at least 3 women is to identify how many pickup artists within any given month are not taking any action at all, or have only approached just one or two women. Having this low baseline makes it easy to identify how many pickup artists are not approaching women.

If the poll asked how many pickup artists approached at least 50 women, it would reveal a percentage who are approaching large quantities of women, and completely ignore men who have approached 49 women, 20 women or at least tried to approach 3 women.

Not All Pickup Artists Do Cold Approach

Pickup artistry isn’t all about cold approach. There are 5 pillars of game; day game, night game, social circle game, message game and inner game. Cold approach is a core component of day game in particular, but also applies to night game, and sometimes social circle game.

Message game and social circle game are popular alternatives for pickup artists who do not desire doing cold approach regularly. And social circle gamers can take advantage of meeting women through networks, often meeting women through other women and taking advantage of preselection, social proof and status.

Cold approach is not everything, it’s just one way of meeting women. And any way of meeting women is arguably a good way to meet women, as opposed to not meeting women at all.
