Getting started as a dating coach in the pickup community can feel overwhelming. The minute you’re involved is when you’ll see a lot of established and rising coaches selling a bootcamp or a program. It definitely can be competitive. Learning to make money and building a fanbase in the PUA industry can seem like an impossible dream. But fear not! There are ways to make your dreams come true!!! 😀
If you’re serious about pickup and aspire to grow an audience (and make a good profit), then this read may be beneficial for you! Or, perhaps you’re already an established coach and would like to make more money in the industry, as well as creating a stronger bond with your audience. This article might be of service to you as well!
Here are some ways that you can start to make money and build your audience in the PUA community.
1. Work With Another Dating Coach Or Pickup Company
Some PUA companies have jobs listed on their websites where they are looking for webmasters, journalists, assistant coaches, etc. Start looking into the community and seeing if there are coaches who offer job or gig opportunities. This is a great way to connect with people who are already well known in pickup. Sometimes they put out requests for people who have experience with editing thumbnails, marketing, writing copy, and even lifestyle jobs such as investing or traveling. Keep your eye on PUA websites and social media accounts, as coaches will sometimes create calls of action for gigs, jobs, and more.
Be aware that a lot of coaches will hesitate with anyone who has their own PUA company since it’s a competitor issue. In this case, create a portfolio and message as an individual without your brand attached. When you do this, it makes it clear that you aren’t there to steal their viewership.
Working with an established company can lead to further opportunities in the future. Plus, you’ll make money working for someone who you admire!!!
How To Do This:

2. Hosting Bootcamps
Bootcamps are the most competitive to sell; they are the most expensive products that a PUA can sell to a prospective buyer. The best way to get involved with doing bootcamps is to invest a lot of time and effort into content creation, to spend time marketing your PUA business (likes, comments, shares, starting discussions, other work on social media, collaborations with others in and out of your niche, etc) and building trust with your fans. It is one of the main ways coaches make money.
If you plan on charging an expensive price for bootcamps, know that the biggest reason they sell is because of the TRUST that the buyer has. Selling a successful bootcamp is ALL about TRUST; you need to have a strong and solid relationship with your audience. You can do this by creating interesting and consistent content on social media, forming positive and professional relationships with your audience (especially when you are interacting with them in forums, groups, etc), staying focused on your niche, responding professionally when it comes to conflict, and offering a reasonable price for services.
Be sure to get any testimonials that you can from your students, as their word is proof to your audience that you are legit and that you are a person they can trust with their time and money.
Do you have students who have already bought a bootcamp from you? Perhaps they would like to take another one. PUA coaches always keep in mind that they are an influencer; a PUA celebrity that many viewers love to see! As a coach, you are a celebrity in our community and you influence not only dating skills, but how others live their lives. This is not only with dating women, but also how they work out, how they travel, how they invest, etc.
With that said, you may want to offer lifestyle services along with your PUA programming… If you’re interested, you can offer a fashion course, a fitness program, or some lessons in wine tasting. People love to learn new things from the coaches they follow, so offering lifestyle programming can be a great way for students to connect with you, as well as growing your finances.
How To Do This:
You can do this in a number of ways. Any of the points listed here can be of help to you when making a new product! Or, you can make a few videos and create content that can coach in lifestyle as bonus material for your coaching products.

Offering practical merchandise might be a good way to go. This may also be a nice idea if you are already an established coach who has been in the game for a long time. Selling a mug or a whiskey glass with your logo on it can be a very affordable way for your audience to contribute to your brand.
How To Do This:
Amazon has some options for you to customize your own gear. Just search “Amazon Personalized Gifts” and see what sort of options you might like. Create your product by uploading your logo and start selling to your audience!
12. Live Streaming
With live streaming on the rise, you can find ways to give coaching and communicate with your audience by doing live streams. Some live stream sites allow you to stream on their platform and allow members to tip you money to show appreciation. Sites like YouTube and Twitch allow people to stream and collect earnings. It’s also a great way to also market your brand and meet new people who may be interested in becoming followers and potential new buyers. If you stream on a site such as YouTube, do know that YouTube will give you an option to save your video as content for people who watch in the future. This content can be made into great video content for your audience, and can be cut down into clips and reels as content and as ways to market your material!
How To Do This:
Look into a live streaming site such as Twitch or YouTube. See if you can fulfill their qualifications. Upon being approved by their site, you can schedule a time frame to stream and announce to your audience what time they can catch you live! It helps to do this at least once per week. 13. Events
Pickup artists love events where people can network in person, study game more closely, and socialize with others when it comes to talking about seduction and the dating lifestyle. One way to make money is to host a game meetup. You can rent an event space, serve food, and have speakers come in to talk about game. Charging a small fee for a great event is something that men would love to travel to do. You can do this as a dating seminar, a community meeting, or as a hangout to increase community and networking.
A very powerful way to make your audience happy and to increase profits is to throw a convention. This takes more time and logistics but a well organized event can be memorable for a lifetime. Consider throwing an event, advertising the event on your social media, and getting other speakers to join. You can also throw other events such as a bar crawl (all of you going to the bar for drinks and meeting people), entertainment such as a fashion show, musicians or other live performers, get catering or go out to eat, and set a space for speakers to give a lecture. Conventions promote unity in our community. They are also a great way to market your brand to other potential buyers and to promote your material.
How To Do This:
List out events you would like to happen, contact potential speakers, plan all the logistics, and have a good time!

14. DVD/Hard Drive/Other Offline Formats
Due to posting guidelines on various platforms, there may be videos or lectures that you cannot post due to community guidelines. There may also be more exclusive content that you wish to share with your audience. Time goes by fast and technology is always changing, but you can preserve your content by selling your digital products, such as videos, in another format. You may want to consider selling your content in a different format other than through the Internet. Flash drives and DVDs might be a cool way to preserve your content, so ask your audience if this may be something they would consider. For some, they also make great collector’s items.
How To Do This:
If you still have an older computer, you can burn your content onto a DVD. You can also buy hard drives and lock your content onto the drive, then lock your content onto the drive to sell.
15. Brand Deals & Ambassador Opportunities
If you have a good amount of followers, you might start getting approached about brand deals. Brand deals are a partnership between your brand and a brand who is interested in advertising a product or a service to your audience. Brands are usually interested in you bringing awareness to the services they offer, which bring traffic to their promotions and branding.
Ambassador opportunities are similar; you work as a representative for a company or a brand. You may have already had brand deals through other coaches or other services that were offered to you. Contracts are usually involved, which may involve you being exclusive to a brand, requiring a certain number of posts to be made, and more. If approached, looking at the guidelines of the contract and considering your audience is a good idea. Make sure that if you advertise a product that it is a product that you yourself would be willing to buy and use. NEVER sell your audience a product that doesn’t work.
How To Do This:
Brands usually contact the Influencer so it’s best to wait until you are approached with an opportunity. However, if you are apt to do so, some brands also allow content creators to apply to bring awareness to their products and services. If the brand is a good fit for your audience, definitely see if it’s something your business may be interested in! Don’t forget… It’s all about trust!
16. Autographs & Letters
If you’ve been in the PUA community for a while and have a great following, you have to face the facts… You’re famous! People look up to you and aspire to be like you as a coach and as a PUA. You may want to consider selling letters and autographs to your audience where you answer their dating concerns and motivate them about game. It can be extremely meaningful to a fan of your content, it might even help empower them about living their life.
How To Do This:
Offer a letter and an autograph. You can also offer to sign your merchandise or a book you create to them for a small fee. You can see if this is something your audience would be interested in. If you feel a bit weirded out, just say this: “Flye Hudson wrote this article, so I’m wondering if you guys would actually buy an autograph or a letter from me as a coach.”
17. Advertising Your Audience
If you have a big following of viewers, you can create a call of action that alerts your followers that you are looking to try their businesses and advertise for a small fee. A subscriber might have a product they would love you to try and would love you to see a reel advertising their business on your channel. Doing these sorts of actions will build community with your following as well as being a chance to make money on the side.
How To Do This:
Put out a call of action. “I’m looking to promote brands made by our community members and would like to welcome you to hit up my inbox in case you are interested in advertising with my channel.” It’s a good way to make brand deals with other communities and also get to know some of your biggest fans on a more personal level. Community is unity!
18. Collaborating In The Community
Collaborations with other PUAs can lead to lots of interesting opportunities. People will support you if you work within the community. When businesses come together to offer content, it is a win-win-win situation (your business, their business, and both of your followings). Some ideas can include lecturing, holding a convention, video programs, podcasts, books (author and illustrator), and more! When you have a business idea and want to share it, consider your community first. When you work with another following, it is a chance to advertise your product, gain new followers, and make new connections… And make money!
Establishing good friendships with other content creators can lead to other deals as well. They may have a job to offer you. Also, other PUAs notice when people collaborate and show kindness to others in the community. They will notice when you work well with others, and may also reach out to grant you an opportunity as well.
How To Do This:
Start collaborating with PUAs in your community! You never know what kind of opportunities may come up!
19. Programs For Women
Over the years the PUA community has gained female followers who love to watch and support content creators, love to attend events, and love to be engaged in what PUA is about. Give your female followers a chance to support you. You can create female programs to train them in becoming a wing girl, an internship in studying love and relationship psychology by doing research for your company, or perhaps you might be interested in giving them a job in promotional modeling for your brand. Or, another popular option would be to create a small program or forum for women who are looking to get good at game. Find out if there are women following your channel and give them a chance to be a part of an opportunity that you can offer.
This is also controversial for me as an LPUA to say, but here goes… Men are EXTREMELY good at teaching women how to run game. You may want to also consider programming that teaches women and lesbians how to approach other women. Don’t be afraid to expand your horizons; women are also a good clientele in the field of seduction.
How To Do This:
You can make content or do calls of action which advertise for a female following. You can also make a request for messages and ask if any female fans of yours would be interested in contributing to your brand to send you a private and professional message to discuss business opportunities.
20. Online Jobs
This is very overlooked but is surprisingly a successful way to grant PUAs full time and part time work in the dating and relationship industry. You have the expertise and the skills; there are people out there who would love to have you work for them! Craigslist is a good option when it comes to finding these types of jobs. Just search for jobs and gigs that might be relevant to what you have to offer as a seduction artist.
How To Do This:
Go onto job search sites and start looking for jobs in the field of dating, relationships, lifestyle, or any type of job that you feel would be relevant to the type of lifestyle you want to achieve. There are lots of opportunities available and your experience as a PUA can be extremely helpful when it comes to jobs that are looking for experience when it comes to this type of work!
21. Sales
Putting a product on sale might be a good way for you to make money. If you offer a product for $25 off or so, people will take notice of this promotion and want to check out the product you are offering. You can do this around occasions or around certain time periods. You can take a percentage off, offer a buy one, get one half off, or give away something for free (like an autograph) when someone buys your product. Looking into sales and considering discounts is never a bad thing to do. Make sure that the sale is reasonable for both you and the buyer- you deserve to make the money, your buyer deserves to be happy!
How To Do This:
Offer a sale on a product that you’d like to sell! You can also talk to other men in sales to see what type of deals would be good for you to sell.
The Best Way To Get Started To Make Money
You should always be passionate about the products that you wish to offer to your audience. Different products work for different people. Perhaps you don’t want to teach bootcamps but you may be interested in writing books, becoming a social media influencer in the community, or making video programs. Write a list of products that you’d love to create and what you’d like to do. You can find success in the pickup industry in so many ways, you just have to create content that you love to create!
The next step is to ask your audience what sort of products they would want to buy from you so you can start to make money. When I first started selling I noticed that my audience was most interested in the lesbian perspective in PUA, so as soon as I put out a textbook which discussed talking about lesbian game, interest in sales went up which led to more conversations and purchases.
This part is the most important: Ask your audience about reasonable prices. “How much would you guys pay for an ebook from me talking about game?” If the price is reasonable and they trust that you’ll deliver the content they are looking for, they will most likely buy from you. $2,000+ for a bootcamp program, plus having to pay for flights, hotel costs, restaurants, club fee, car rides, etc, is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. It is definitely possible, but it takes a lot of trust, a lot of content, testimonials, and a ton of time to get people to make big commitments. The more expensive the product, the more trust and passion for your brand is required.
While you get ready to start hosting bootcamps, you can also sell other products to make money. Focus on giving your audience something reasonable. A website membership that gives your buyers consistent exclusive videos, dating lectures and discussions, and a private forum for $30 per month (with the option to renew, or non-commitment) is something that can be considered a reasonable and a great buy. A $50 convention ticket where a buyer can meet their favorite influencers in the PUA scene and enjoy time networking with others in PUA is something that can be considered reasonable. Ask what your followers would buy from you and figure out what a reasonable price would be. Work with your audience to create a win-win situation!
Create A Way For Established Coaches To Support Your Business
Because of conflicting interests, it isn’t wise for a coach to buy a product from another coach. It’s a competitor’s issue and can also reflect negatively on a brand. However, selling other types of products to coaches (such as speaking at a convention you’re running or buying a paperback memoir about your life) can be a great way for a coach to show support for your brand as well as building community with others.
A Note About Your Followers
To finish this article, I want to really advocate for your following. A lot of people feel very cautious about people stealing and reselling content to make money off your work, or that people in their following are out to do harm. Your followers love you very much! They are not out to steal your content or try to scam you. They love to watch your content and love what you do. It would be a dream for many of them to meet you on the street one day, treat you to a meal, and ask questions about your life. You are a member of our community who makes your people feel empowered because of the work that you have done. Money is a careful investment and affordable options can really make your audience feel good about contributing money to their role models in the PUA community. (Also, if there is a scam, your audience will be quick to report to you as well)
Remember that for a lot of the men in your community, you are a hero for them to be inspired by. Give them a chance by offering many opportunities for them to support your business, especially affordable options if they cannot afford a bootcamp or a video program.
